This boiler is for the popular Roger Thornber design in gauge 1. Construction is as per the drawings published in Model Engineer. The shell is 16 gauge copper 2 1/4" diameter and 11" long. It is fitted with one 5/16" diameter superheater tube and two 1/2" diameter flue tubes. The firebox has 6 copper stays and has 4 cross water tubes. There are 3 longitudinal stays and a gas pre-heater is fitted to the backhead. The boiler weighs 1.4kg.

This boiler is made to the drawings in the G1MRA "Project" book. The boiler shell is 20 gauge copper, 2" diameter and 7 1/4" long. It has a single 3/4" diameter flue tube fitted with 5 cross tubes. There are an additional 3 cross tubes fitted in the firebox. There are 4 bushes tapped 1/4" X 32tpi, 1 bush tapped 5/16" X 32tpi for steam dome, one 5/32" steam pipe and one 1/8" blower pipe fitted.

This boiler is made to the drawings in the G1MRA "Dee" book. The boiler shell is 7" long and 1 3/4" diameter. It has a single 3/4" od flue tube fitted with 5 cross tubes and 3 additional cross tubes in the firebox. The backhead has 2 bushes tapped 3/16" X 40tpi, there is a safety valve bush tapped 1/4" X 40tpi in the top of the boiler and a dome bush tapped 5/16" X 32tpi. There are also two blind bushes, tapped 5ba, at the front of the boiler for dummy water feed clacks.

This boiler is fitted with a regulator and steam blower.
