A number of customers have asked for a boiler with a greater output than the 4" marine so this new Maccsteam boiler should fit the bill admirably. It is 6" diameter and 10" long and has 2 two inch diameter flues, each with 10 cross water tubes. It is fitted with two 2" ceramic burners. As with all Maccsteam boilers the Six Inch is manufactured from heavy gauge copper tube and plate, all silver soldered. Bronze threaded bushes are used throughout. The size of this boiler allows a decent length of superheater to be fitted to provide an ample supply of dry steam.
Steam tests have shown that this boiler will produce over 1300 cubic inches of steam per minute at 50psi when running on pure butane and around 1600cu ins/min @50psi when using a 65/35 butane/propane mix. I am confident that the steam generation capacity of this boiler is greater than any ceramic burner fired boiler of similar size on the market today.
