Gas Tanks

All Maccsteam gas tanks are constructed from 16G (1.6mm) copper with 16G end plates. they are fitted with a phosphor bronze centre stay and colphos bushes. All tanks have 2 blind bushes in the bottom, tapped 4ba for mounting. They are supplied with a gas regulator valve with a pipe nut and nipple suitable for 1/8" diameter pipe. The filler valve is of the standard "Ronson" type and may be filled from a standard cigarette lighter refill, or from one of the popular gas blowlamp cartridges fitted with a suitable adaptor.

PLEASE NOTE: These tanks are for use with BUTANE or BUTANE/PROPANE mixes up to a maximum of 40% propane. Higher mixes of propane must not be used in these tanks owing to its much higher pressure, particularly if allowed to become warm.

	2 1/2" Gas Tank This is the largest standard tank in the Maccsteam range.The dimensions are 2 1/2" (62mm) diameter x 4" (100mm) long. The capacity of this tank is approximately 200ml   Please note: This is the largest diameter tank I can supply although I can make them in almost any length you like £60.00 each
	1 1/2" Gas Tank Similar to the tank above but 1 1/2" diameter and 3" long. The capacity of this tank is approximately 60ml. £45.00 each
	2" Gas Tank Similar to the tanks above but 2" diameter and 3" long. The capacity of this tank is approximately 120ml. £50.00 each
